They snap a pill in half, or into quarters, and pray they dole out the desired amount. So any time a specific small amount is required, that can be problematic. March 16, 2008 New Publication from Releef’s Scientists. This week an article about the beneficial effects of a drug combination for treatment of tissue wasting was published in Oncology Reports. The authors of the report, Dr Kenley and collaborators describe the effects of two well known pharmaceutical agents, formoterol and roxithromycin. The experiments points to a synergistic effect in slowing cachexia or tissue wasting which is a common medical problem in cancer, infections and traumatic injuries. Read more…
